A YOUTH'S STORY

Twenty years ago in Lyantonde town,Rakai district, Uganda, there was a girl who aged 14 and she was an orphan from her age of 12.By that time, her uncle hd promised to help her with schoolfees until her S6 and he did so.

The girl wax successful until she finished her S6 and the decided to get her another house to live in since his promise was finished. The uncle paid the house rent but he never gave any other basic need to the girl and he gave her a plan to start looking for a simple job to do inorder for her to afford the other basic needs herself and keep some income for her future studies.

The girl searched for the job but she never got one until she got a plan to start a prostitution business.Indeed the business was successful for three days. The next day, she was listening to the radio and she got news that a terrible disease called AIDs had invaded her district. She got more explanation and they said that prostitutes are the leading group in the spread of the disease. She then went to a certain clinic and tested HIV negative. She decided to leave alone that work and look for another work she could do but she didn't get any plan.

She decided to go back to her uncle and tell him the story, she then requested the uncle to help her give her free rent and food and also re-help her with schoolfees. The uncle replied ''unless you become my wife because I am a widower, I wont help you'' The girl begged of him but he always told her the same story.

Now, put yourself in the shoes of the girl, what would you do?
